Scenic Rafting Trips

Scenic rafting is a great way to get out and see the North Platte River. Floating the river is an ideal way to observe wildlife from a comfortable setting. All of our trips are guided by skilled and trained river professionals We float the river in modern rafts with comfortable padded bench seating. These trips are not white water rafting and are fun for the whole family. Our trips are designed for your group whether it be one person or thirty. We don’t combine groups or seating in the boats. Please give us a call at the shop and we can plan the right trip for your group.

All about our trips

We supply Life Jackets for all our guests. Adults are not required to wear Life Jackets unless instructed to by the guide. All kids 13 years and younger are required to wear Life Jackets at all times in the raft.

All scenic rafting trips meet at our shop on the river.

We supply water, soft drinks and some snacks on all trips

You are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks. Your guide will be happy to help with coolers at the shop before your trip.

Besides the clothing you want, there is not a need to bring much along, It's always advisable to bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.

Our boats have plenty of safe and dry storage. Feel free to bring along Binoculars and camera equipment.

1/2 day scenic trips are operated near Saratoga and we are right on the river. The travel time to and from the river is very quick.

Morning 1/2 days trips typically arrive back to shop around 12:30pm

Afternoon 1/2 day trips typically arrive back at shop around 5:00pm

Depending on the time of year the weather can vary quite a bit. It’s always a good idea to pack rain gear and some extra warm clothing. This extra gear is not necessary for most summer time 1/2 day rafting trips.

DEPOSIT AND CANCELATION

A $150.00 deposit is required for each boat/guide per day at the time of booking.

Trips cancelled with in 2 weeks of the scheduled reservation are subject to forfeiting the deposit.
